Backend Software Engineer

Duffel is building the infrastructure for the future of travel. We are hiring a Backend Software Engineer to work on scalable APIs that power millions of flight bookings worldwide. You will work from our Shoreditch/Liverpool Street office in London on a hybrid basis.

Strong experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GCP. Excellent understanding of distributed systems and API design. Collaborative and proactive approach to engineering challenges.

Design and build high-performance backend APIs. Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure on GCP. Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
